New York City is filled with free music events this month, but none of them feature stars form Be More Chill, Dear Evan Hansen, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, you name it! We recently listened to the Loveville High podcast...which is just spectacular, and didn’t think we would get to see a live concert of it. Here’s the story..

Loveville High is absolutely fantastic, the music is original and so lively that it makes me want to travel back in time to when I was in high school. When listening, you will feel transported into your early years of fun and freedom...when the only thing you had to worry about was who you were going to prom with and what you were going to wear; and teen pregnancy, gender identity, love, everything high school.

The amazing cast and crew includes Kathryn Allison, Phoenix Best, Melanie Brook, Harrison Chad, Troy Iwata, Gizel Jiménez, Mason Alexander Park, Isaac Powell, Conor Ryan, and MiMi Scardulla; with book and lyrics by David Zellnik and music by Eric Svejcar

The best part is that tickets are free...yes, I did just say the word free, which will make the show all the more better. I’m making sure that my agenda is cleared for this, Monday, June 17 at Manhattan’s York Theatre Company! The show is right around the corner. We are looking forward to seeing the concert and hope that whoever is reading this will come and enjoy it as well. Bring your playbills from the Broadway shows these rockstars have been in, you might be able to collect some autographs. It will be an instagramable night I’m sure.
